Extending a hand towards uplifting the community

The Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charity Golf Tournament is an event aimed at benefiting the local community. The 9th Annual Charity Gala took place on September 15, at the Guildford Golf & Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will assist the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society in supporting several heath care initiatives.

The Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charity Golf Tournament has been developed to support the goals of the charities and further fund initiatives. With the help of this tournament, their charity can continue supporting causes such as nutritional school snack programs for students at Surrey public schools, high school programs developing young adults and larger initiatives such as contributing to the BC Burn Fund.

This tournament also allowed organizations, businesses, and individuals to partner with the Surrey Fire Fighters Charitable Society thereby changing lives for the youth in need. The organizers would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the golfers who took part in the event.
