Western Community College forays into IT PROGRAMS
Technology has immensely impacted our lives. With the advent of new applications every day, a small device like a cell phone has become a key to many of our day to day activities. In this era of changing and ever growing technology, the need to learn and use computers and other technological devices has become pertinent for success. This was the thought behind developing the computer related programs at Western Community College. The college offers a variety of Computer and IT programs, that range from “Basics of Computers” to Certified IT Technician Program. The “Basics of Computers” curriculum is an apt program for new users of the computer and is for grownups who want to make use of some simple features like sending emails, updating Facebook or creating word or excel documents. The Diploma in Computer Science Fundamentals and Diploma in Information Systems are programs open to domestic and international students, who wish to start from scratch and pursue education and careers in the IT sector. Certified IT Administrator and Certified IT Technician are two professional IT programs, which are job oriented and lead to administrator and technician jobs in the IT sector.\n\nSince 2012, Western Community College has paved its way in the hearts of the community members, by offering quality based job oriented programs at affordable fee. After offering programs in Health Care, Medical Office Assistant, Business and Accounting, the college has now opened an IT department and is offering IT based programs.\n\nFor further information about any of these programs or for any kind of career guidance, feel free to contact Western Community College Inc.
