SUPER VISA
For faster family reunification, Citizenship and Immigration Canada has introduced wonderful tool for us which is called Super Visa for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Canada.\n\nEarlier it was a dream to call them near us as many of citizens & permanent residents live far from their parents because there were many formalities which was not possible for each person, also wait time was almost seven to eight years for parental sponsorship, but now we are very fortunate by meeting few formalities our parents and grandparents can come to us within eight weeks (sometimes, it can be longer up to two months)\n\nIt is a multiple entry visa\n
\n\n-It is valid for up to 10 years\n\n-Family members can stay up to 24 months at a time\n\n
\nRequirements:\n\n\nFor Super Visa there are major 2 requirements. \n\n1- Income ( Eligibility LICO chart is available in CIC site )\n\n2- $100,000 Insurance coverage\n\nSuper –Visa Insurance is most important factor of granting super visa, as we understand in Canada medical services are very expansive for those people who are not covered by Canadian health system, Some time few people hesitate to buy Super visa Insurance due to its cost .\n\nWe should remember one thing when we were kids, our parents never compromised on our health due to expense, now it’s our time to pay back and cover them with best coverage plans available in market, instead of looking for the cheapest plans. \nApplicants for the Super Visa must provide evidence that they have Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year for a minimum of $100,000 coverage. This is a requirement that must be fulfilled before applying for a Super Visa.\n\nWhen applying for Canadian medical insurance coverage, an applicant must truthfully answer all questions in the application. Failure to do so can invalidate the policy. If there is a medical question that is unclear, the applicant’s doctor should be consulted to correctly answer the question.\n\nOnce a visitor obtains their insurance it is also important to follow the rules of their insurance policy to report a claim.
