We are incredibly proud to announce that Hephaestus FRC became the first team in BC to build a Swerve Drive Robot. Established in 2016, the FRC team was founded by a group of students and mentors, Scott Smith and Julie Occleshaw. As an inclusive team of diverse students working together to learn about STEM education in an applied setting, they believe STEM is for everyone and it is their mission to inspire, educate, and support others locally and globally by sharing information, mentoring, and reaching out as a key element of their initiatives.\n\n \n\nThe North Surrey Secondary’s Team 6390 Hephaestus inspires others while challenging themselves to constantly improve.
