\nBorn in Tibba village, Sangrur District, Punjab, to Dr. Shivdev Singh and Sardarni Saroop Kaur, Sardar Sohi's passion for acting emerged in his teenage years. His formative years saw him imitating legends like Dharmendra and Dara Singh. His journey into professional acting began with theatre under the mentorship of the illustrious Harpal Tiwana and Neena Tiwana, whose guidance he credits as the foundation of his career.\n\nHe honed his craft with some of the finest artists, including Naseeruddin Shah, Amrish Puri, and Raj Babbar, and spent 12 years performing on stage.
