\nArriving in Canada during a time of economic instability and high-interest rates, Jay worked on a Richmond farm earning just $3.65 an hour. Undeterred by challenges, he persisted with a clear vision for a brighter future.\n\nIn 1984, encouraged by his friend Sr. Avtar Singh Nijjar, Jay began driving a taxi in downtown Vancouver, eventually owning a Yellow Cab Service. \nIn 1991, Jay transitioned into real estate by co-founding Elegant Development and Holidays Ltd. alongside Surinder Bhatti and Tesh Chhachhi.
