Deepinder Singh - Turning Dreams into Reality
WE HAD THE PLEASURE TO SIT DOWN WITH DEEPINDER SINGH, A HIGHLY EDUCATED, TENACIOUS, AND HARDWORKING MAN WHO TAKES LIFE’S CHALLENGES HEAD ON.
\n\n\n\nHe is Sold By Deep”, PREC with Blueprint, Remax Realty. He is the recipient of the Remax Hall of Fame 2022 - award. He is originally from an area near Amritsar, Punjab where he grew up in a nuclear family, the youngest of 3 siblings.
\n\n\n\n“I had a carefree life in India. If I was in India I doubt I would be as ambitious as I am now.”
\n\n\n\nWhen he arrived in Canada in 2017 he completed his masters degree in computers in Vancouver and landed a coveted job in IT, with a prestigious company in North Vancouver. Shortly after, during the pandemic in 2020 he took a chance on a new career. Today he is a tremendously successful realtor, who never imagined he would become so accomplished in Canada and especially as a realtor.
\n\n\n\n“I am a big believer in destiny and without any prior experience in Real-Estate, I was presented with the opportunity by my brother in laws, and I took the leap into the world of real estate which. If you’re not a risk taker you will not achieve all that you can be.” A move which inevitably has paid off. He credits his family with the support they offer in making his somewhat risky decisions. “The reason for that is my parents could have told me to stay in my previous field but they supported me. My parents just said if you feel this is the right field for you then, we support you, anything you need. Both of my sisters and brother in laws are extremely supportive.” Since childhood he has been community focused, always giving to those underprivileged. As we start to learn more about who he is, and what motivates him, he can barely contain his excitement. He tells us about an event he is planning.
\n\n\n\n“Actually, I have a funny story for you. When someone tells me I cannot do something, I say watch me! A friend of mine said you need at least six months to create an event. So that same day, I went and put a $10,000 deposit down at Reflections Banquet Hall and booked my event which is happening at the end of December. My goal is to raise $50,000 for BC Children’s Hospital. I really love children.” What sets Deepinder apart from other Real-Estate agents? “I always work for people’s best interest not for the money. When I started real estate I had zero knowledge I kept struggling for about 2 months, 4am I used to wake up every morning and start my day, including door knocking and finally home at 9pm. After I did my first sale the happiness I felt, the accomplishment - I was hooked.”
\n\n\n\nDeepinder says, kids don’t talk to their parents. Parents will guide you, trust your parents they’re number one, whatever they say everything is right. The support of his parents and guidance is immeasurable. “My father told me that when someone puts their trust in you and you sell them a property, surely it will grow in value, but god forbid it decreases in value - that person will remember you for their entire life. People connect with a good vibe, that’s the ultimate thing. I have a responsibility to my clients, once you gain someone’s trust you don’t want to rupture that.” In his spare time he likes to help his mother in the kitchen. “After an open house on the weekends I enjoy a glass of wine, I enjoy cooking with my mom. My mom is basically my right arm, she’s helped the whole family, she takes care of my sisters kids. I always talk to my mom.” Advice for our readers: “If you want to be somebody, a role model, an influencer you have to improve yourself. You must have goals and a schedule. The life of a real estate agent is very disciplined.”
\n\n\n\nHis biggest challenge in life? “I guess now, getting married,” he laughs. “I envision myself as the sky is the limit… You haven’t see anything yet! My future goal is to excel in real estate, in construction. I always move with a plan accepting any challenge, and taking risks! Along the way: Turning dreams into reality.”
IF YOU’RE NOT A RISK TAKER YOU WILL NOT ACHIEVE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE.”
